At the moment, in the statute of the Centre there is no Scientific Advisory Board as such. However, there are people who are not formally members of the Centre but with whom we share our ideas and thoughts and with whom we enjoy working together.
The people below share no responsibility for the RCC, but have agreed to be "informal" members of the Scientific Advisory Board and we are proud to be associated with them.
- dr David E Leahy
- Active in the R&D of novel technologies to accelerate discovery processes for almost 30 years as a scientist with ICI/Zeneca Pharmaceuticals and most recently as founder and Chief Technology Officer for Cyprotex PLC, a UK public company that specialises in experimental ADMET screening, pharmacokinetic simulation and QSAR modelling. David is author and co-author of several scientific papers on QSAR modelling and automated decision making software. David has PhD in physical-chemistry.
- dr Ljubomir Buturović
- Director of Microarray Research at Pathwork Diagnostics, Sunnyvale CA, and Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at San Francisco State University. His research interests are the use of machine learning methods for clinical diagnostic purposes, in particular drug response prediction and SNP association mapping. At Pathwork Diagnostics, he is responsible for development of predictive algorithms for microarray-based cancer diagnostics.
