Research Centre for Cheminformatics (RCC) is a not-for-profit contract research organisation (CRO) in Belgrade, Serbia. Areas of our expertise are statistics (regression, classification and survival analysis) and data management.
Our mission is to create world quality statistical models. Our approach is to automate the model building and validation process. We have applied our approach in QSAR and microarray-based cancer diagnostics. So far, the majority of our contract work was based on drug discovery and diagnostics for cancer treatment. We had been indirectly funded by Cancer Research UK in the period 2007 – 2010 during which we worked on anti-tumor projects mostly with scientists from the Molecular Informatics Group at the Northern Institute for Cancer Research (NICR). Currently we have two full-time employees (statisticians) and five associates.
The Centre was founded in late 2005 by a group of enthusiasts led by Damjan Krstajić
